Frequently Asked Questions

What is the copyright on your printables?

I retain all copyright for my printables. You may print them as many times as you’d like for your own personal / church use. Do not share, sell, or distribute my files. Commercial use of any kind is not permitted. If you have questions, please ask.

Will you customize my files?
I am happy to customize the custom invitations and announcements available in my shop (not the invites included in instant download sets). However, I’m not doing any other customizing at this time. But, I’d love to hear your ideas and suggestions!

Do you accept returns?
No. Because of the nature of digital items, I cannot deliver refunds after the file has been downloaded. However, I am happy to fix file errors.

How do I download files purchased on Etsy?
Files are easy to download once your purchase is complete. You will receive an e-mail from Etsy with a link to download. You can also access your downloads through your account under “purchases & reviews”. You need to know where downloads automatically save on your computer.

How do I unzip the files? Why am I getting an error message?
If you get an error message, it is probably because you are trying to open a zipped file. You need to unzip the file before opening it. On a Mac, simply double-click the file. A new, unzipped folder will appear in the same location. On a PC, right click on the file, click on “extract all”, select where you want the files to be save. This is explained at about 3:15 in the video above.

How do I print my file?
You can print your document professionally or at home. Professional printers like Office Max or Staples may ask to see the “permission to print” file. This is included with the copyright information. I recommend printing on premium white cardstock for best results. Keep in mind that colors won’t usually print exactly how they appear on screen. Another tip is print at 100% (not scale to fit). For more tips, please watch the video below.

How to I assemble my banner?
After printing out the pieces note whether the top edge is straight or shaped. If the top edge of the banner is straight, you can fold the top part over your string or ribbon and attach it to the back. Some files have a faint line to fold on. If the top edge of the banner is shaped, attach the string to the back using tape.

How do I make cupcake toppers and wrappers?
For cupcake toppers, cut out the circle or punch using a 2″ hole punch. Sandwich a toothpick in the center of two toppers, using adhesive in the middle to hold it together. For cupcake wrappers, print this free cupcake wrapper template on the back of your patterned paper and cut it out.
